New Delhi: Yoga guru Ramdev, who runs foods and beauty care products firm Patanjali that is looking at Rs 5,000 crore turnover this financial, on Saturday requested entrepreneurs that keep their items affordable and to crate a major push to the residential business sector.
Attending to a get-together of more than 600 entrepreneurs here, Ramdev Baba said India has an big potential and they should be work to promote Swadeshi products.
“You should be 100 per cent sincerely for the work which you are doing. The costs of your products should not be high,” he said at a meeting by Entrepreneurs Organization.
Looking at overpricing by Indian companies, he said, “We are not competing with any Indian organizations but the same time, I think Indian organizations to check their costs. Our work is totally taking into account social justice, justice to nature and service.”
Haridwar-based Patanjali offers more than 500 items.
On progression arranges at Patanjali, Ramdev said, “This would not be an individual health of anybody. This would keep on running on the idea of charity. A year ago, when it get debt free, then we said that no shareholder of the organization would take profit from the organization.”
He further included: “I have prepared many disciples to run it and there would be more than hundred Ramdevs.”
Patanjali, which is expecting Rs 5,000 crore (over USD 730 million) turnover this monetary with 150 per cent growth, is growing its generation office to meet the demand.
“We are wanting to have five times production capacity from the present one before the end of this year. We would begin it in next six months,” he said.
Currently 99 per cent production is inhouse, Ramdev baba included.
